Putting data into these applets

Most applets can be used with the numerical values that are already here, so you don't have to put in any data.

(Language: "Data" implies that we know the context in which the data was generated - we know the names of the variables and the units in which the data were measured. The illustrations of the applets here do not use data in this sense, but are illustrated with values generated to give useful illustrations.)

Some applets allow you to put in data yourself. All of those will allow you to change the numerical values used by simply choosing "random values."

When you want to put in data of your own, simply erase the values in the textbox and paste in your own data.
